The Penn State White Out is one of the memorizing and fantastic fan events in college football. Every White Out brings an exciting new energy to the sport of football as the fans get loud throughout the entire game.

This year’s White Out is a special for several reasons as the No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions host the #22 Auburn Tigers. This year’s White Out game is the first time since the 2011 game versus No. 3 Alabama where Penn State had a White Out game versus a non-conference opponent.

This game against Auburn is the third time ever that a non-conference matchup was featured in the White-Out.

Most significantly, this game versus Auburn is the first White Out game since the 2019 season, as the pandemic forced Penn State to not have any fans last season. The lack of a crowd at Beaver Stadium was devastating as we did not have one of the most anticipated events in college football.

This game versus brought an eager, loud, and energetic crowd to College Gameday. Even non-Penn State fans were wowed by the fans that gathered to create the White Out stadium that the Nittany Lions and Tigers are currently playing in.
