‘The state of Michigan football is scary good’: What Jim Harbaugh said as Wolverines work through spring ball

Spring football is in full force in Ann Arbor. Michigan got an early start this year, looking to build off its B1G title run in 2021 and carry momentum in the 2022 season.

On Tuesday, head coach Jim Harbaugh met with reporters to provide updates on how spring practice has gone through the first few weeks. There’s no question the eighth-year leader is pleased with what he’s seen.

“The state of Michigan football is scary good right now,” Harbaugh said, drawing plenty of excitement among fans on social media. He’s excited about what the offense has to offer and what the defense can accomplish — even without some of the stars from last season.

Harbaugh also touched on injuries, potential position switches and his flirtation with the NFL. Here’s what the head coach had to say while meeting with reporters Tuesday:
