The college football world is most definitely singing a different tune when it comes to Maryland in the last two weeks than it did in Week 1.
Following a blowout loss to Northwestern on opening day, the Terps have rattled off two consecutive wins. Their latest was a triumph over Penn State in Happy Valley. That got some people talking, including ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit.
My goodness has @TerpsFootball become a fun team to watch. Open the year with a demoralizing loss to Northwestern 43-3. Turn around and win back to back weeks vs Minnesota and yesterday blew Penn St out. Locks drawin up ball plays & Taulia Tagovailoa lettin it fly.

The last two wins have certainly been attention grabbers. The win over Minnesota got some increased hype with it being on Friday night and there not being much else happening in the college football world. The Penn State win might have more to do with the incompetence of the Nittany Lions.
Either way, Maryland is 2-1 and finds itself in a solid position in the Big Ten East. In Week 4, the Terps face the ultimate test of hosting Ohio State.
