The B1G is home to some of the most iconic and intimidating venues in college football. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, those stadiums sat empty while teams took the field during the 2020 season.
Hopefully, that won’t be the case in 2021.
Already, most schools across the country have announced plans to allow full capacity at football stadiums this fall. That includes most of the 14 institutions in the B1G. That means those iconic venues should be rocking.
Which will be the most hostile?
247Sports recently released a list of the 10 stadiums in college football that will create hostile atmospheres this year. A combination of stadium capacity, passionate fan base and team talent should create some exciting environments.
Three B1G venues were included on 247Sports’ list. Here are the three:
No. 9: Camp Randall Stadium — Wisconsin
No. 5: Ohio Stadium — Ohio State
No. 2: Beaver Stadium — Penn State
Some other potential candidates that didn’t make the list out of the B1G include Kinnick Stadium (Iowa), Michigan Stadium (Michigan) and Memorial Stadium (Nebraska).
