The Badgers will be without three key players for Saturday’s game against Illinois.

While there was no confirmation on a few key players until Saturday morning, there was an expectation that the players wouldn’t be in uniform for the B1G contest. Those three players are defensive end Isaiahh Loudermilk and defensive backs Scott Nelson and Reggie Pearson.

Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel had the news.

Loudermilk has played in four games for the Badgers this season, recording six tackles. Nelson has made an appearance in all six games, totaling 25 stops and an interception.

Pearson saw the field for the first time last week against Michigan. The freshman recorded five stops against the Wolverines.

Wisconsin is 4-2 and 2-1 in the B1G. It hosts Illinois at noon ET.
