Thursday Night Football: Social media reacts to latest disappointing NFL contest for TNF

Thursday Night Football across the NFL has struggled to produce some great games. This week, it has been more of the same with a very lackluster battle between the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos.

Heading into halftime, the two teams had combined to kick three field goals. The Broncos carried the 6-3 lead to the break but it has been a far from impressive game.

Quarterbacks Matt Ryan and Russell Wilson have both struggled with efficiency and have combined for 6 sacks early in the third quarter. Neither rushing offense has been explosive with both times averaging less than 4 yards per carry.

Also added to the mix, Colts RB Nyheim Hines left the game after a scary incident in the first quarter. Hines would eventually be ruled out with a concussion, but it has been a rough evening for everyone involved.
