Tickets for Gonzaga-Baylor National Championship game are incredibly expensive

If you’re hoping to attend Monday night’s National Championship game between Gonzaga and Baylor, you better be willing to pay big money.

As of Sunday morning, tickets for the NCAA Tournament final were up to $7,500 per ticket if you wanted to sit in the 200 level.

There are cheaper options if you’re willing to sit in the 600 level of Lucas Oil Stadium. But even those seats — after fees — are likely to cost upwards of $400 a seat.

Part of the reason for the steep price is the lack of available seats. Less than 9,000 people will be able to watch this game live at Lucas Oil Stadium.

This is also a rare experience for both fan bases. Neither team has won a National Championship before in its history.

This matchup marks the first time since 2005 that the selection committee’s No. 1 and No. 2 overall seeds are meeting in the championship game.

Both Gonzaga and Baylor cruised to the Final Four. The Bulldogs needed overtime and a buzzer beater to beat UCLA on Saturday night, while the Bears handled Houston without much issue.

Tip off is at 9:20 p.m. ET on Monday night.
