Tim Brando names new top 10 entering Week 8

Tim Brando released his latest top-10 heading into Week 8 of the college football season.

The FOX Sports analyst’s list comes after 3 top-10 teams fell over the weekend.

Brando had Ohio State at No. 1 following the Buckeyes’ bye week. Ohio State has been dominant all season, starting things out 6-0. Ohio State hasn’t faced much competition, but will get some big tests in the next few weeks in Michigan and Penn State.

Georgia was behind Ohio State after another dominant win for the Bulldogs, this time over Vanderbilt. At this point in the season, Ohio State and Georgia almost seem to be in a league of their own.

Tennessee climbed into the top three after the Vols defeated Alabama on a last-second field goal.

Michigan was at No. 4 on Brando’s list after its dominant win over Penn State on Saturday. The Wolverines will get an opportunity to catch their breath before taking on Michigan State on Oct. 29.

Alabama fell all the way to No. 9 after its loss to the Vols on Saturday.
