After a wild week that featured some big upsets and the first College Football Playoff rankings, each of the top teams will be tested in Week 10. ESPN college football analyst Tim Tebow gave his upset alert watch on one team that is ranked in the top five. The team he put on upset alert is No. 2 Michigan State.

Michigan State will face a dangerous Purdue team in West Lafayette at 2:30 pm. Michigan State comes into this game as a 2.5-point favor, according to FanDuel. On Oct. 16, Purdue shocked and dominated No. 2 Iowa in Iowa City with a 24-7 score.

Here is what Tebow had to say about his upset alert of the week:

“The most top 5 unranked upsets of all time. Sixteen for Purdue in the history of their program. This week, they might make it 17. Listen, we saw what they did a few weeks ago against Iowa. They absolutely thrashed them. Their defense has played well this year at times. Their offense is real spotty. But Coach Brohm is really good at dialing up some plays in big-time games, and that place is going to be rocking. You look at Sparty — 2 of their last 5 weeks have been a top 5 game, and they’ve been really close to letting it slip. Give them a lot of credit — they’re a very good team. But Purdue has been really good in these moments. They’ve been the best all-time beating top 5 teams as an unranked team. Could they make it 17 today?”

Michigan State has the closest point spread versus their unranked team among all of the top five ranked teams. The Spartans are coming off their biggest win of the season versus No. 7 Michigan with a 37-33 win at home.

Can the Spartans avoid the upset?
