The entire NCAA Tournament is being held in Indiana. Assembly Hall is a designated host site for March Madness games. And yet, the once-storied basketball program in Bloomington won’t be participating.

So it was probably painful for Indiana fans to see one of the nation’s top basketball venues primed and ready to host NCAA Tournament games. A video of the transformation from the Hoosiers’ home floor to a March Madness court was released on Sunday.

Below is the video shared by NCAA March Madness’ Twitter account:

At one point in the season, Indiana was sitting at 12-9 and appeared to be firmly in the NCAA Tournament field. But the Hoosiers closed out the season with six straight losses and was a one-and-done team in the B1G Tournament, falling to Rutgers to end their season.

It’s the fourth season Indiana will be left out of the NCAA Tournament in a row. Last year’s tournament was called off, though there was a good chance the Hoosiers earned a bid with a 20-12 record and a first round victory over Nebraska in the B1G Tournament.

Head coach Archie Miller has never taken his team to the tournament in four seasons as head coach.
