Indiana rolled to its seventh win of the season Saturday, thrashing Northwestern by a final score of 34-3.
Not content with simple bowl eligibility, the Hoosiers are now 7-2 with three games left on the schedule. Those games are against Penn State, Michigan, and Purdue. That means it will not be easy, but Indiana has a great shot to finish with eight wins on the season.
Regardless of how they finish, the Hoosiers are guaranteed a winning season and a bowl berth. In Saturday’s win over Northwestern, head coach Tom Allen also thinks he saw the best performance of the season:
Allen said he felt like effort against Northwestern, 34-3 win, was most complete game to date #iufb

Allen went on to say that the Hoosiers expected to be in this situation, citing the work they’ve put in on the season:
Tom Allen, "I don't think our guys are satisfied by what they are doing, they expected it." #iufb

Hopefully, Indiana can finish the season on an even stronger note. They have a bye in Week 11 before a trip to Happy Valley on Nov. 16.
