A year-long celebration of the National Football League’s 100th season, the NFL and The Associated Press partnered to select a panel of 80 members to list the 100 greatest game-changers in league history.

Coming in at No. 25 on the list was New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Via Michigan football’s official Twitter account, Kobe Bryant, Joe Buck and Charles Woodson talked about the former Wolverine’s impact on the game:

A native of San Mateo, California, Brady played for Lloyd Carr at Michigan from 1995-99. Not receiving significant playing time until his redshirt junior season in 1998, he passed for 4,773 yards, 30 touchdowns and 17 interceptions during his time in Ann Arbor.

Selected by the Patriots in the sixth round (No. 199 overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft, Brady has gone on to post perhaps the most illustrious career in league history. A six-time Super Bowl champion, he has been named Super Bowl MVP four times and is a three-time first-team All-Pro honoree (2007, 2010, 2017).

Off to an 8-1 start in 2019, Week 10 is New England’s bye week.

Paul Brown was named the No. 1 game-changer in league history by the panel.
