On Monday, the BTN analyst laid out the “bests” of Week 1, highlighting everything from best quarterback battle, to coaching matchup to chance for an upset and much more. It’s a TV Guide for B1G football fans.
So, what are some of the “bests” for the first week in the conference? Here’s what Dienhart thinks:
- Best game: Michigan vs. Florida
- Best head coach matchup: James Franklin vs. Terry Bowden (Penn State vs. Akron)
- Best coordinator clash: Tom Allen vs. Kevin Wilson (Indiana vs. Ohio State)
- Best QB battle: David Blough vs. Lamar Jackson (Purdue vs. Louisville)
- Best chance for an upset: Wyoming vs. Iowa
- Best matchup: Michigan O-line vs. Florida D-line
Dienhart went on to give explanations for each of his selections and also ranked every B1G game in Week 1. He also provided a few notes for the first week of the year.
