Tommy Togiai and the Cleveland Browns appear to be an ideal match. The Ohio State defensive lineman was tabbed by the Browns in the fourth round with the No. 132 overall pick.

The Browns’ brass expressed effusive praise for Togiai and what he can offer on the field.

The Browns were even more comfortable with the selection because of Ohio State’s tradition of excellence.

Togiai still had college eligibility but ultimately he’s thrilled that his gamble paid off in such a major way.

It’s an honor for Togiai to be able to remain in Ohio as he begins the next chapter of his football career.

Togiai was among a group of Ohio State players selected in the 2021 NFL Draft that included Justin Fields, Pete Werner, Wyatt Davis, Trey Sermon, Baron Browning, and Luke Farrell.
