Ohio State’s bench is a tough one to please. Even when Justice Sueing converted an easy 2-point basket, the Buckeye bench wasn’t satisfied.

Early in the 2nd half of Ohio State’s game against Michigan State, Sueing made a great play by getting a hand on a Spartans pass, chasing the ball down and breaking away for an easy basket. Most teammates would’ve been thrilled by the fastbreak opportunity.

But instead of slamming the ball down, Sueing opted to lay it in for the easy basket. To say his teammates were underwhelmed would be an understatement. Actually, they looked pretty confused by Sueing passing on the chance for a big dunk.

Below is the clip, shared by Ben Stevens of the Locked on Big Ten podcast:

That bucket extended Ohio State’s lead to 14 points. Still, the Buckeyes on the bench wanted to erupt. Instead, they were shrugging their shoulders.

Next time, Sueing better throw it down with some authority to please his fans on the bench. They weren’t impressed with the decision to get a layup at the rim.
