Travis Hunter announced late Wednesday night that he will be following former Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders to Colorado. The former No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2022 announced he would be transferring from Jackson State soon after Sanders took the vacant Buffaloes job.
This should come as a surprise to very few. Hunter was thought to have a final 3 of Colorado, Florida State and Georgia, but following his former coach, who happens to be one of the greatest athletes to ever play football, seemed like a no-brainer.
Hunter announced Wednesday that if his YouTube channel surpassed 100k subscribers he would announced his destination. He surpassed that in just a few hours and held up on his promise.
