In Indiana’s home opener last season, Jordan Geronimo elevated for a pretty impressive dunk. His teammate Trayce Jackson-Davis cannot forget it.
Indiana’s Big Ten social account posted a video with Jackson-Davis recalling Indiana’s home opener last season where he threw a pass to Geronimo that he ended up dunking. Jackson-Davis knew Geronimo was something special when he threw that pass and recalled the moment that brought it all home for him.
“When JG dunks the ball, you just sit back and you’re like ‘how did he do that,'” Jackson-Davis said. “[The] first game of the year I throw him a lob and I overthrew it probably by a foot and somehow he just went up and grabbed it and threw it in the rim, and I said, ‘That kid’s special.'”
Remember when @JordanGeronimo2 took flight in last year's opener? 🚀@TrayceJackson, the man who fed him the lob, sure does.
