Trayce Jackson-Davis is not going to be playing against Elon. Indy Star’s Zach Osterman reported the news on Tuesday evening.
Jackson-Davis is not going to be playing in the game for precautionary reasons. This happened earlier in the season as well.
Indiana will be taking on Elon without Jackson-Davis on the court. Jackson-Davis has played in 10 games for the Hoosiers this season and is averaging 16.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this season.
Trayce Jackson-Davis out for precautionary reasons, just as he was earlier in the season. Dare I suggest his load is being managed. #iubb

The Hoosiers are coming off of a blowout loss to Kansas in Lawrence on Saturday. Kansas beat Indiana 84-62 to give the Hoosiers their third loss of the season.
There is no indication about what exactly Jackson-Davis’ injury is. Jackson-Davis has dealt with back and hand injuries so far this season.
Luckily for Indiana, Jackson-Davis’ absence comes during a tune-up game. Indiana faces Kennesaw State next on Dec. 23 before playing Iowa on Jan. 5.
