TreVeyon Henderson is officially ready for his rookie NFL season now that his career at Ohio State has wrapped up.

The 4-year star for Ryan Day and the Buckeyes wrapped up his career with over 4,600 yards of offense and a spectacular senior campaign. He averaged over 7 yards per carry with a 1,000-yard season on the ground and 1,300 yards of offense, including a spectacular and clutch big-play touchdown against Texas in the College Football Playoff semifinals.

During the NFL Draft, Henderson became a 2nd-round pick when the New England Patriots grabbed him with the 38th overall pick. He was the 4th running back selected in the draft, coming off the board just a few selections after teammate Quinshon Judkins.

On Saturday, the Patriots confirmed that Henderson has signed his rookie contract. While the team did not reveal the terms of the deal, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported it was a fully guaranteed deal for Henderson. Spotrac projected the full value of Henderson’s deal at just over $11.1 million.

After wrapping up his career, Henderson finished with 3,761 rushing yards, a mark that ranks 4th on Ohio State’s all-time list, and his 42 rushing touchdowns rank 6th. Fortunately for the Buckeyes, he saved his best for last in helping lead Ohio State to its first national title since 2014.
