TreVeyon Henderson’s injury designation revealed ahead of Ohio State-Purdue, per report

TreVeyon Henderson hasn’t played for Ohio State since going for 104 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries against Notre Dame on Sept. 23.
Henderson has been hampered by injury, and it’s unknown if it’s related to his foot surgery in December or something different. That said, he will be a “game-time call” for the Buckeyes against the Boilermakers, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
If Henderson can’t go, the Buckeyes would have presumably turned to Miyan Williams, but he has been listed as out according to the pregame availability report. Williams carried 6 times for 23 yards against Maryland on Oct. 7. That means Deamonte Trayanum, who received much of the carries against the Terrapins, will be in line for the start on Saturday.
The Buckeyes should be favored to beat the Boilermakers with or without Henderson, but his availability will remain up in the air for at least a little while longer.
Kickoff from West Lafayette is set for noon ET and will be a streaming-only game on Peacock.
