Trey Palmer is on a mission in Week 7, and he’s lighting things up in West Lafayette. After opening the second half with a quick touchdown against the Boilermakers, he provided another lightning strike late in the third quarter.

This time, Palmer’s big catch came on a little out-and-up route. There was not much to it, but the Purdue defender was caught napping, and Palmer ran right by him on the outside.

Casey Thompson’s throw was on the money and in stride with Palmer rolling 72 yards for the big score. This score brought Nebraska within 4 points after previously trailing by 17 points and again by 11 points.

Palmer is up to 6 catches for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also has a massive run to his tally off an end-around play.
