Trey Palmer showed off some smooth moves after scoring his second TD of the day against Wisconsin on Saturday.

The Nebraska WR tweeted on Saturday that he had woken up angry, and apparently, he also woke up and chose violence and is taking that anger out on the Badgers. Earlier in the game, QB Casey Thompson connected with Palmer on 11-yard TD that got the Cornhuskers offense rolling. Palmer was averaging 13.3 yards per catch on Saturday coming to the close of the 4th quarter.

In honor of, and as a tribute to, former LSU Tiger and teammate Justin Jefferson, Palmer danced through the end zone doing the Griddy after his second touchdown, complete with a faked hamstring injury. Jefferson was drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft and now plays WR for the Minnesota Vikings. Last Sunday after a Viking TD, Jefferson did the Griddy in the end zone, faking a hamstring injury at the end. Jefferson and Palmer were LSU teammates in 2019 before Palmer transferred and Jefferson was drafted.

Despite Palmer’s efforts, Wisconsin took home the win to become bowl eligible, defeating the Cornhuskers in Memorial Stadium.
