Ohio State running back Trey Sermon is in the midst of arguably his best game as a Buckeye.

The Oklahoma transfer has been solid so far this season, but nothing more impressive than this 64-yard touchdown run. Be sure to keep an eye out for his lead downfield blocker on the play, too.

That’s quarterback Justin Fields sprinting down the sideline to deliver the final block. He may have been a bit fortunate to avoid a block-in-the-back penalty, but respect for the effort nonetheless.

Ohio State is rolling Michigan State as the Buckeyes lead 35-3 late in the third quarter. So far, Sermon has nine carries for 113 yards and that touchdown. His previous game-high with Ohio State was 68 yards against Rutgers.

OSU’s backfield appears to be in great shape between Sermon and Master Teague. Two weeks ago, it was Teague who went off for 169 yards and two touchdowns against Indiana.

Ohio State has won four straight games vs Michigan State coming into today.
