Tristan Gebbia, former Oregon State QB, confirms transfer commitment to Ohio State

Tristan Gebbia is indeed heading to the B1G, confirming in a statement on social media that he will join Ohio State for the 2023 season.
Gebbia was a 4-star prospect in the 2017 recruiting and the No. 9 pro-style QB in the country for that cycle per the 247 Sports Composite. Gebbia would eventually see limited action at Oregon State from 2019-22 before entering the transfer portal following the season.
Now, he’s heading to the Buckeyes for one final season of eligibility.
“…I will be continuing my career at THE Ohio State University! I am extremely thankful to Coach Day, Coach Hartline and Coach Dennis for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime to continue playing the game I love and I am excited to get started on this new journey,” Gebbia confirmed.

Gebbia has thrown for 1,250 yards in his career while completing 64% of his passes for 5 touchdowns. He joins a quarterback room at Ohio State looking to replace CJ Stroud as he makes the jump to the 2023 NFL Draft.
