Tua Tagovailoa was dinged up in Miami Dolphins’ Sunday game against the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, he was injured once again on Thursday Night Football, and this injury appeared especially serious.

In the second quarter, Tagovailoa was wrapped up and taken down for a sack by the Cincinnati Bengal defense. In the process, Tua was brought down hard to the ground with the back of his head slamming into the turf.

Tagovailoa stayed down for a long time with his hands appearing to seize up in odd angles. He was eventually strapped to a stabilizer board before being carted off.

Tua was already on the injury report for the Thursday night contest with back and ankle injuries sustained in the win over the Bills. Hopefully, he checks out okay after what was an especially scary scene.

His initial injury against Buffalo produced a scary sight on its own with Tagovailoa stumbling to the ground after getting slammed into the turf. While many felt the hit resembled a concussion, the official report was a back injury.
