Michigan State added another CB to its 2023 class on Monday. This time, it was a player from Georgia.
Colton Hood picked the Spartans via a post from his Twitter account. He is a 3-star CB per the 247Sports Composite. Hood chose Michigan State over the likes of Arkansas, Auburn, Boston College, and Clemson per 247Sports.

Hood is the No. 73 CB and 79th-ranked player from Georgia in the 2023 class. He comes to East Lansing from Eagles Landing Christian Academy in McDonough, Georgia. It looks like the visit he took on Jun. 10 really helped him make his decision.
Michigan State currently has the No. 3 2023 class among B1G schools. The Spartans also have the No. 21 ranked overall class for 2023.
Hood is bringing his 6-foot, 170 pound frame with him to the next level. Multiple B1G schools were interested in him. Indiana, Minnesota, and Penn State all offered him.
