Twice as nice: Michigan State picks up 2nd commitment of day with pledge from Florida DB

Mel Tucker’s Michigan State staff is hot on the recruiting trail. Hours after landing 4-star safety Reggie Powers, the Spartans added another defensive back to their 2024 recruiting class.
Camren Campbell is the newest MSU pledge. Campbell, a cornerback from Florida, announced his Michigan State pledge Wednesday night via social media.

Out of Tampa Bay Tech, Campbell is listed as measuring 6-1, 175 pounds. Rivals rates Campbell 3-stars. Campbell has not been rated by 247Sports or On3 at this time.
During his recruitment, Campbell has picked up scholarship offers from 14 schools, including Minnesota, Boston College, Kansas and Louisville. He visited Boston College in the first weekend of June before checking out East Lansing this past weekend.
