Twitter reacts to the College Football Playoff rankings

It’s a great week to be a fan of the B1G.

Both Michigan and Ohio State were listed in the top four on Tuesday’s College Football Playoff rankings show, becoming the second conference to have two teams in that position in a given week. The other is – obviously – the SEC.

But the success of the B1G stretches further than that. Wisconsin earned the No. 7 and Penn State moved up to No. 8. That’s right, the conference owned half of the top eight positions on Tuesday night.

The only other conference team to be ranked – Nebraska – came in at No. 18.

As you can imagine, Twitter erupted with plenty of hot takes and instant analysis. Here’s a glimpse of what some of the folks were saying:
