Trevor Siemian 1, Cam Newton 0.
Ok, so maybe the former Northwestern quarterback didn’t outperform the reigning NFL MVP, but he did pick up the victory in his first career start. And naturally, Twitter had a good time with that.

Siemian has as many double-digit 2nd half comebacks in his first game as a certain MVP QB has in his career.

Trevor Siemian. Northwestern. Big Ten West.
Cam Newton. Auburn. SEC West.
Wisconsin.
LSU.
Must be a trend developing…

Guess Cam should have spent as much time as Siemian on football, instead of focusing on dance move for end zone.

And one more joking tweet…
Siemian > Cam. Or B1G > SEC.
