One of the most hotly-debated topics in college football is the skill of head coaches. There are some obvious names that will always be at the top of the list without debate. Others might leave some eyebrows raised.
247Sports’ Brad Crawford ranked the Top 10 head coaches for the 2022 college football season this week. Two B1G head coaches made the cut, with Jim Harbaugh coming in at No. 6 and Ryan Day sitting at No. 8.
It’s an interesting placement, as Day has led Ohio State to two B1G titles and two College Football Playoff appearances in three seasons. Jim Harbaugh has claimed one conference crowns (2021) and made one trip to the Playoff in seven seasons.
However, Harbaugh and Michigan got the best of Day and Ohio State with a 42-27 victory last season.
