Welcome to the world of the transfer portal.
Just because a player is at one school one day doesn’t mean they won’t be at another school within the next week. That’s the world we live in today when it comes to college football.

Oregon State has a number of former Huskers on its team and came out with its Week 1 depth chart on Monday.
Here are some former Huskers that are either starters, backups or weren’t even listed:
Former Nebraska WR Tyjon Lindsey and ILB Avery Roberts listed as starters for Oregon State's season opener. QB Tristan Gebbia is listed No. 2. P Caleb Lightbourn is not listed.

Lindsey was once a big-time recruit for Nebraska, while Roberts and Gebbia were former 4-star recruits as well.
Nebraska’s 2019 regular season kicks off at noon on Saturday, Aug. 31 at home against South Alabama. The game will be televised on ESPN.
