Two key players to miss remainder of Illinois-Maryland game

Illinois-Maryland may not catch much national attention, but if Maryland wins, the Terrapins will be 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten.

Maryland is at home and in the third quarter, the Terrapins lead 35-12. The game is going according to plan. However, not everything is going perfectly.

Maryland RB Ty Johnson has been a key part of the offense, but left the game and will be out for the remainder of it with a calf strain. However, Johnson isn’t the only play-maker missing the rest of the game.

The Terrapins appear to be in control of this game, but the injuries are worth watching for next week.
