Before we turn the page on this holiday weekend, there are two more B1G basketball games to enjoy on Saturday.
The day begins at 2 p.m. ET with No. 23 Ohio State traveling to Evanston to play a red-hot Northwestern team. That game will air on FS1 with the Buckeyes sitting as a 3.5-point favorite before tipoff.
Ohio State is 7-1 on the season, with its lone loss coming to Purdue earlier this month. The Buckeyes have won two straight games, defeating UCLA in the CBS Sports Classic and taking down No. 11 Rutgers 80-68 on Wednesday.
Northwestern enters this game with a 5-1 record with its only loss coming to Pitt, a 71-70 defeat in the B1G-ACC Challenge. The Wildcats have knocked off No. 4 Michigan State and Indiana in the last 7 days to start conference play with a 2-0 record.
At 4 p.m., Indiana and No. 18 Illinois are scheduled for a showdown in Champaign. The Fighting Illini are a 7.5-point favorite and that game will also be broadcast on FS1.
The Hoosiers are coming off a disappointing home loss to Northwestern and are looking to pick up their first B1G win of the season. Illinois has been off to a bit of a bumpy start for a team projected to make a Final Four run. The Fighting Illini are 6-3 with losses to Baylor, Missouri and Rutgers.
Indiana is 5-3 on the year.
Saturday’s games in the B1G round out the schedule of basketball contests this weekend. Conference action will resume on Monday.
