Two more members of Ohio State’s 2020 recruiting class have earned the right to call themselves Buckeyes.
On Wednesday, Ohio State announced that offensive lineman Paris Johnson Jr. and defensive back Cameron Martinez have shed their black stripes, which signifies that they’ve officially become Buckeyes. Both players are entering their freshman season with the program.

Johnson was a 6-foot-7, 290-pound offensive lineman who was ranked as the No. 9 overall prospect in the country. He was the second-highest ranked player to commit in the Buckeyes’ 2020 class, earning a 5-star rating.
Martinez was a 4-star recruit who came to Columbus as an athlete. He ranked No. 323 nationally, per 247Sports.
Ohio State is scheduled to open the season against Nebraska on Oct. 24.
