Purdue has had plenty of inspiration going for it this college football season.
Tyler Trent, a former Boilermakers student, has gotten plenty of well-deserved attention alongside Purdue, giving the team any inspiration needed. The super fan is battling cancer and was at the Purdue-Ohio State game where the Boilermakers upset the then-ranked No. 2 Buckeyes 49-20.
Trent’s story has become well-known, and come bowl season, the team will be able to have Trent by its side once again. Thanks to Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay, Trent flew to Nashville, where the team will be playing in the Music City Bowl at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 against Auburn:
