Trent, a former Purdue student who is battling bone cancer, made his way to Ross-Ade Stadium to watch the Boilermakers defeat No. 2 Ohio State 49-20. He predicted Purdue to pull the upset.
Along with attending the game, Trent was featured in an emotional and incredible segment on College GameDay. The story was conducted by ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi.
Trent’s story and his courage has been inspirational to Purdue and the entire college football world. It’s only appropriate he was named the “Football Guy of the Week.”
