Underrated: LB Joe Schobert becomes first NFL player to accumulate these numbers since his rookie season

It seems like for his entire football career, Joe Schobert has been underrated. It started back when he was a walk-on at Wisconsin. That mindset seems to have followed him into the NFL.
Schobert continues to put any doubt to bed with his play on the field. On Sunday, the linebacker made his 500th career tackle. That, along with his eight career interceptions, puts him in exclusive company since he entered the NFL in 2016:

This is Schobert’s fifth season in the NFL. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2016 Draft. Since then, he’s put up these great numbers. After 2019, he moved on from the Browns and headed to Jacksonville.
He has continued to impress with his linebacker work for the Jaguars. This year, Schobert also scored his first career touchdown on a pick-six.
In high school, Schobert did not receive a Div. I football scholarship offer. He ended up walking on in Madison. By 2015, Schobert was a senior starting at linebacker for the Badgers. It’s a pretty amazing story going from walk-on linebacker to NFL starter.
