Update provided on Wisconsin DE Matt Henningsen ahead of Las Vegas Bowl

Wisconsin will face Arizona State in the Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 30. The Badgers recently announced that defensive end Matt Henningsen has joined the team after previously being listed as not being in Las Vegas.

The 6-foot-3, 291-pound Henningsen has amassed 13 solo tackles and three sacks this season. For his career, the senior has tallied 37 solo tackles and eight sacks.
Henningsen also accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl on Feb. 3, which coincidentally will be in Las Vegas.
Wisconsin has an 8-4 overall record and finished second place in the B1G West. The Badgers are coming off a 23-13 loss at Minnesota on Nov. 27.
Arizona State also has an 8-4 record and finished second place in the Pac-12 South. The Sun Devils most recently defeated in-state rival Arizona 38-15 on Nov. 27.
Arizona State leads the all-time series 3-1 vs. Wisconsin.
