Just one week of college football remains until bowl season arrives. With the regular season in the books, players have just Championship Saturday to prove whether they are a contender for the Heisman Trophy.

Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa still holds a firm lead on the best odds to win the 2018 Heisman Trophy following Week 13 action. Bovada recently updated the odds following the final week of the regular season.

Behind Tagovailoa is Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray (7/2), West Virginia quarterback Will Grier (20/1) and Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins (33/1).

Still on the board are Washington State gunslinger Gardner Minshew (50/1), and a pair of Clemson Tigers — running back Travis Etienne and quarterback Trevor Lawrence – both at 100/1 odds. UCF’s McKenzie Milton and Michigan’s Shea Patterson are officially off the board.

The Heisman has been Tagovailoa’s to lose for most of the season, but Murray and Haskins continue to put up big numbers, refusing to be eliminated from contention. It still seems like a long shot that anyone would get the edge over the Alabama QB.

We’ll see if anyone makes one final push on Championship Saturday.
