Could Urban Meyer leave Ohio State? Paul Finebaum offers his opinion

The investigation has concluded and the punishment has been handed down. Still, Urban Meyer’s status and future at Ohio State continue to remain a topic of conversation.
It spilled over into Monday, when Paul Finebaum talked about Meyer and Ohio State during his weekly appearance on The RoundTable on WJOX. That’s when the college football analyst gave his opinion on what he believes will happen with Meyer in the future.
And it isn’t something a lot of Buckeye fans will want to hear.
“I’ve thought a lot about this,” Finebaum said. “And you can look and interpret and say whatever you want, but I’ve come to at least an opinion on Urban Meyer that this will be his last season at Ohio State. I just don’t know how much longer this can go on, and I say that because I strongly believe his credibility has been shattered. The relationship with his athletic director has been fractured, and it was pretty easy to read the body language the other night that the school president wants nothing to do with him as well. Even though I would say Ohio State fans would easily rank among the most sick of fan in college football, slowly, I believe they will bail on him as well. Then, it will touch recruiting. We’ve seen Urban’s past when he’s under the gun, he bails.”
Finebaum is right on one thing, that athletic director Gene Smith, president Michael Drake and Meyer seem to have a tainted relationship. Over the last few weeks, there’s been some finger-pointing and it wouldn’t be surprising to see some sort of divorce in the near future.
But would Meyer bail on Ohio State, especially being the lifelong Buckeye fan he claims to be?
Meyer famously left Florida at the conclusion of the 2010 season, citing health-related issues for his departure. Less than two years later, he became the head coach in Columbus.
