Urban Meyer has seen plenty of quarterbacks toss a pigskin around during his coaching days.
On Tuesday, during his appearance on Colin Cowherd’s show, The Herd, he was asked about which quarterback was the best he had ever seen play in high school.
Meyer’s response?
Former Ohio State — and current Washington Redskins quarterback — Dwayne Haskins:
.@ColinCowherd: Who is the single most talented high school QB you ever saw?@CoachUrbanMeyer: Dwayne Haskins if you talk about pure ability to throw the football… I sat there for 2 hours and watched him throw. He was better than most college QBs that I've had in my system. pic.twitter.com/bVfZY4hadQ

Haskins would go on to play for Meyer at Ohio State for two years and in his final season, Haskins broke numerous Ohio State and B1G records, throwing for 4,831 yards and 50 touchdowns compared to just eight interceptions.

Haskins went on to be drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft and was a rookie this past season. It is assumed that he will be the starter in Washington going into Year 2 of his NFL career.
