Urban Meyer knows what it takes to win a Big Ten Championship, and he knows a contender when he sees one. During a segment on Big Noon Kickoff.

Meyer picking the Buckeyes to make an appearance isn’t the most surprising thing, even without Julian Sayin. However, his second pick to be in that game may be a shocker, as he has Bob Chesney and the UCLA Bruins playing the Buckeyes.

“I’m saying UCLA against Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game,” Meyer said.

The Bruins have been one of the most shocking surprises of the 2026 season, as they enter the Week 9 matchup against Nevada with a record of 7-0.

After leading James Madison to the College Football Playoff last year, Chesney is looking to do the same thing with the Bruins.

The schedule lines up nicely for the Bruins, as they don’t play a team the rest of the year that is currently ranked in the Top 25. The end of the year matchup against USC has the potential to be a huge game, but Chesney and his team have a great path to making Meyer’s prediction come true.

The Bruins kick off against the Wolfpack on Saturday at 1:15 p.m. PT.
