What makes a football team great? You can look at depth, a legitimate running game, winning at the line of scrimmage, a defense that can dominate or create turnovers.
You can point toward all of that, and, you wouldn’t be wrong. But, there’s a reason why quarterbacks are looked at as superstars, get MVPs and Heisman Trophies and make the most money professionally as a position group.

But, what makes a quarterback great? What makes them a national championship signal caller at the collegiate level?
Urban Meyer broke it down, stating toughness as his answer.

Sorry, Buckeye fans. This loss is going to sting for a while.
However, the 2020 season is coming. Revenge and winning a national title of your own (for the second time in the CFP era) would certainly heal that wound.
