USC lands 2025 commitment from massive DL out of Florida

USC is working on rounding out the 2025 recruiting class, and the Trojans picked up another piece for the defensive trenches on Thursday.
This time, the commitment comes from Floyd Boucard, a 3-star defensive lineman out of Florida who was pursued by many major programs. At one point, Boucard as committed to former Big 12 power and current SEC program Oklahoma while also holding offers from Alabama, Miami, Florida, Colorado and LSU, among others.
Now, Boucard is committed to the Trojans as a potential impact performer along the line.

Boucard, originally from Canada, grew up playing hockey. He transferred to Miami Central for the 2024 season but delivered 85 tackles, 27 TFLs and 11 sacks during the 2023 season at Mobile Christian.
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds, Boucard is rated as the No. 48 DL by the 247 Sports Composite. He joins a USC recruiting class that is currently ranked No. 10 in the country and includes 21 total players.
Boucard is the 3rd DL to commit in this cycle, joining 4-star in-state prospect Hayden Lowe and 3-star DL Gus Cordova from Texas. Cordova is the No. 52 DL in the country while Lowe and Boucard are both top-50 players at the position.
