Vanderbilt Commodores redshirt sophomore defensive back Randall Haynie was flagged and ejected for a targeting penalty committed on Purdue Boilermakers sophomore wide receiver Rondale Moore in the third quarter of Saturday’s game at Ross-Ade Stadium.

A three-star in the 2017 class according to the 247Sports Composite, Haynie committed to Vanderbilt over the Maryland Terrapins. Appearing in eight games last season, he registered 15 tackles and one interception.
One of the more electrifying players in the Big Ten, Moore posted 1,471 yards of offense – 1,258 receiving and 213 rushing – on 135 touches as a freshman. He caught 11 passes for 124 yards and a score in the Boilermakers’ season-opening loss to Nevada.
