VIDEO: Ke’Shawn Vaughn’s first carry of the game went for a 65-yard TD

Ke’Shawn Vaughn had a rough season opener.

The Illini tailback was held to less than three yards per carry in a rout of Murray State. Vaughn finished the day with just 49 yards.

On his first carry Saturday night, Vaughn bested that total.

Illinois’ third play from scrimmage turned into a 65-yard touchdown:

That’s a good early sign for Illinois against a talented UNC team.
