Ohio State enters Saturday’s matchup as more than a two-touchdown favorite, but the Buckeyes cannot take anything for granted come kickoff.

Ryan Day and Ohio State took home a win in Week 1, securing a 45-21 outcome over FAU. Though the Buckeyes never really felt threatened in that game, it was a hot start and sluggish second half that carried the team to victory.

Now entering Week 2, the competition takes another step up with a visit from Cincinnati. Luke Fickell’s squad already has a win over a Power 5 opponent this season with a 24-14 win over UCLA in Week 1. A balanced attack and strong defense carried the Bearcats in that game and could put a bit of pressure on Ohio State.

While the Buckeyes will undoubtedly be favored Saturday, at least one prediction has the game as a very tight contest. According to the computer prediction put out by Odds Shark, Ohio State is predicted to win by little more than a field goal.

It currently has Ohio State winning 38.0-34.4:

Hopefully, Day and the Buckeyes are up to the challenge. Saturday’s kickoff is set for 12 pm EST on ABC.
