Vegas computer predicts lopsided outcome in The Game
By Paul Harvey

The annual rivalry showdown between the Wolverines and Buckeyes is shaping up to be another good one.
Heading into the matchup, Ohio State is favored by nine points on the road against Michigan. That is not incredibly surprising, consider how the Buckeyes have played both all season and in recent history in this series. Ohio State has captured seven straight over the Wolverines, including four wins by double digits in that streak.

However, the Wolverines are playing their best football of the season down the stretch and enter the game hot under head coach Jim Harbaugh. Additionally, the weather forecast for Saturday in Ann Arbor could play a major factor in the game.

Regardless of the outside factors, the computer prediction put out by Odds Shark does not see a close contest between the two sides. In fact, it sees the Buckeyes covering the nine-point spread and then some.
That prediction sees an Ohio State win by the score of 48.5-24.2:
That may seem like a generous prediction for Ohio State. However, it’s worth noting that Michigan has lost the last two games at home in the series by 11 points and 29 points.
Who comes out on top Saturday? Kickoff is set for 12 pm EST on FOX.
