Vegas releases odds for next Michigan head coach

A day after the shocking news that John Beilein was leaving Michigan to be the next head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Vegas has released odds for the Wolverines next head coach.
Several media outlets and college basketball experts have released their lists of top candidates that Michigan should target. There are some obvious names like Billy Donovan (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Johnny Dawkins (UCF), as well as a unique option like Juwan Howard (Miami Heat assistant).

- Billy Donovan — 7/2
- Bobby Hurley — 5/1
- Mike White — 5/1
- Kevin Keatts — 7/1
- Shaka Smart — 7/1
- LaVall Jordan — 10/1
- Luke Yaklich — 10/1
- Saddi Washington — 10/1
- Brad Stevens — 12/1
Those are some pretty good candidates to choose from. We’ll have to see which direction athletic director Warde Manuel decides to go in the coming days and weeks.
