Vegas releases opening spreads for Week 5 B1G matchups

A pair of undefeated showdowns highlight the coming week in B1G college football, as we look ahead to what will hopefully be a full slate of games.
A number of key matchups can have an impact on the B1G Championship landscape, and Vegas has already taken a look, and come up with some early betting lines.
Here are where the lines opened at Vegas Insider:
- Purdue vs Minnesota – Pick ’em
- Penn State -3 vs Iowa
- Maryland -4 vs Michigan State
- Ohio State -21 vs Indiana
- Michigan -9 vs Rutgers
- Nebraska -14 vs Illinois
- Wisconsin -8 vs Northwestern
Wisconsin returned back to the field after dealing with issues related to COVID-19 and found the win column. But all eyes will be on Columbus this Saturday as two of the top-10 ranked teams in the B1G face off.
The Buckeyes are an early 21-point favorite according to the oddsmakers. Also, a game to watch, the Badgers will look to build on their dominant showing over Michigan and are 8-point favorites over an also unbeaten Northwestern squad.
This week is sure to see some movement in the standings in the league ranks, as the setup for the B1G Championship is on the horizon.
